Dear elders, brothers, and sisters,
We hope you are all well and in the best of Imaan.
Alhamdhulillah, as of Sunday, 7 December 2025, the rebuilding of our Masjid Hall — along with two new floors — has officially begun!
With your generous donations, we have been able to start the project. We are still in need of further funds to complete everything, and we are hopeful that with your continued support the work will progress smoothly, Insha’Allah.
While the Masjid Hall is under construction, there will be a few temporary changes. Please take note of the following:
Namaz
All daily prayers will take place in the rear hall at the usual times.
Jumma Namaz will also be at the usual time. The Jamaat will be held in the back hall, with the upstairs classrooms and top floor available if more space is needed.
Wudhu
Wudhu and toilet facilities will continue as normal and are not affected.
Madrassah
Madrassah classes will continue as usual with no changes to timings.
Janaza
Janazas can still take place, but please speak to the committee beforehand, especially if a large turnout is expected.
Taaziyat / Dua Gatherings
Women’s side: No major changes, but an alternative entrance will be used.
Men’s side: The usual hall is now being used for Namaz, so it won’t be available. The double classroom upstairs may be used instead. If you expect many attendees, please consult the committee before arranging.
Nikah
Nikah ceremonies will continue following the normal process.
Ramadhan Arrangements
Taraweeh: We will still perform 20 rakaats with full Qur’an Khatam. The top hall will be used—similar in size to the old Jamaat Khana, if not bigger.
Iftari: Our usual collective Iftari in the back hall won’t be possible this year. Instead, we’ll use the double classroom upstairs (since Madrassah will be closed during Ramadhan). Please note it must be cleaned promptly as it will be needed for the additional Taraweeh Jamaat and Khatam.
We appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued support throughout this exciting new chapter for our Masjid. May Allah reward everyone abundantly and make this project a source of blessing for the entire community.
Jazakumullahu Khairan.
The most beloved charity is the kind that continues to benefit people long after it’s given. This includes building a well that provides clean water, supporting a Masjid or Madrassah that nurtures young Muslims, funding a hospital or orphanage, and any effort that keeps serving the community over time. Among the greatest of these ongoing charities (Sadaqah-e-Jaariyah) is teaching our children about Islam (Dheen). This not only brings continuous reward but is also considered one of the best forms of voluntary worship (Nafl Ibaadat).
Alhamdhulillah, we have grown and achieved so much over the years, and that progress is thanks to the generosity and open hearts of our community. Their contributions continue to bring daily reward, as every donation supports the Masjid and Madrassah—places where people pray, learn, and benefit every single day.
